Dakota Products,
LLC is a family owned business located in Bismarck, North Dakota. In
2006, we introduced The Pumpkin Gutter, a drill attachment pumpkin
carving tool that
allows you to quickly and easily remove the seeds and strings before
carving a pumpkin.
No one we have
ever met likes this slimy, messy task, and we are no exception. We
love Halloween and carve pumpkins every year. In 2003, the founder
of Dakota Products, Evan Anderson, wanted to create a pumpkin
entirely carved using power tools. The one task he didn't have a
tool for was gutting. About an hour later, he emerged from the shop
with the first prototype of The Pumpkin Gutter.
That initial
prototype worked so well that we perfected the design over the next
few years. The Pumpkin Gutter was such an effective pumpkin carving
tool, we decided to make it available to everyone.
